The Utah Juvenile Court piloted the Carey Guides in several juvenile probation offices and found they are effective tools for engaging probationers in the case planning process. Officers reported the guides provide a concrete way to address problems with probationers.  The Guides’ wide range of topics fill gaps in programming. We are now in the process of expanding the use of the Carey Guides statewide.
